St John’s College is a Catholic community whose members are inspired by high ideals of intellectual excellence, faithful Christian living and witness, and service to society. St John’s was established in 1858 as a college of and within the University of Sydney and presently has 257 men and women resident students, a small number of affiliate students and several resident senior members.

Academic Dean

Reporting to the Vice-Rector, the Academic Dean provides a range of professional services to support the implementation and operation of student focussed programs with an emphasis on academic work and the tutorial program. This role will have carriage of preparing and revising academic program plans for the College under the supervision of the Rector and Vice-Rector.
