Dining

standard content layout with side buttons

Meal times are an opportunity to socialise with other students in the College and make new friends.

Three meals a day, seven days a week are included as part of the residential student fees, with a variety of options available to cater to a number of dietary requirements.

All meals are eaten in the historic dining hall.

Menu

The menu for each meal differs daily. Breakfasts mostly consist of a selection of cereals, toast and fresh fruit whereas lunch and dinners include hot meal options (with a vegetarian or vegan option mostly available) and a salad bar.

Coffee, tea and juice options are also available for all meals.

Meal times

Monday to Friday:
Breakfast 6:30am – 9:00am
Lunch 12:00pm – 1:30pm
Dinner (Tues-Fri) 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Formal Dinner (Mon) 6:15pm sharp

Saturday and Sunday:
Breakfast 7:00am – 9:30am
Brunch 10:30am – 1:00pm
Dinner 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Formal Dinner

Formal dinner is held every Monday evening during the terms and is a staple of College life. These dinners can provide opportunities for you to receive updates on what is happening around the College or hear from insightful speakers.

Students are required to wear their academic gowns. On some occasions, men will wear a dinner suit (‘black tie’) with academic gown to Formal Dinner and women a cocktail dress (but not a ball gown) with academic gown. Students will be advised when the more formal dress is required.
