It is with great sorrow that I share the news of the passing of Mrs Mary Connors, beloved wife of Mr Michael Connors who was College Rector in 2000. Mary held a special place within our College community and was cherished by all who knew her. Mr John Coorey, College Chairman, aptly described her as “exceptionally dedicated and as tireless a worker for the College as has ever lived”.

We invite you to join us in honouring Mary’s life and praying for her at the Mass of Christian Burial, which will take place at St Mary’s Church on Ridge Street, North Sydney, on Friday 14 July 2023, at 10 am. Following the Mass, a funeral procession will accompany Mary to her final resting place at Macquarie Park Cemetery in North Ryde.

During this time of mourning, let us remember and celebrate the remarkable contributions and profound impact that Mary had on our College community.

May she rest in peace.
