St John’s acknowledges the passing of Johnsman Bill Higgins (SJC 1969-1973).

Dear Alumni of St John’s College,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of William “Bill” Higgins (Fresher 1969). I offer my condolences to Bill’s family.

Dear ex Students of St John’s College’s 1969 Fresher and 1970 Sophomore years, 

For those who have not yet heard, I pass on the very sad news that Bill Higgins from our 1969 Fresher year died earlier this week. Bill was very popular and so many of you will have known him well in his 5 years at the College doing Science and Civil Engineering. His wife Jillian (nee O’Callaghan) was a student at Sancta Sophia.
