Rooms

St John's can accommodate 186 people, some rooms equipped with ensuite facilities and others with hand basins. In addition, there is a range of public rooms varying in size from modest, functional tutorial rooms, to places of considerable grandeur.

The Tower Room

A pleasant room with a grand entrance and garden access, ideal for cocktail parties. This area can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests and has been a stunning success with past guests and functions.

The Great Hall

Used as the Dining Hall, this imposing room can seat up to 200 people, with an additional 'High Table' at the head of the room. Featuring stunning stained glass windows and impressive artworks, this room is usually set up in a very traditional collegiate style. This room is commonly used as the dining area during large conferences.

The Chapel

This stunning venue will charm every Bride & Groom to be! What a pleasure to have your wedding in such a beautiful and romantic environment. Our Chapel is the perfect wedding venue.

The chapel is also available for Baptisms, Funerals and other Catholic services.

The exquisite Brennan Hall

This Hall can accommodate large cocktail functions, public lectures, special dinner parties or formal events for up to 200 people. Even with its large size, this antique book-lined room remains cosy and intimate, thanks to its elaborate design and structure.

The Library

A comfortable room at the top of the main staircase, the Library is ideal for small and intimate gatherings. This area can comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests and would be the perfect area for small group training sessions.

The Cloister Room

Formal dinner parties or those occasions where privacy, intimacy and comfort are required are easily catered for in this glamorous room. This area can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests at dinner, or a larger number for meetings or buffets.

The Council Room

The Council room is an elegant setting for cocktail functions, special dinner parties, meetings or discussion groups. Slightly smaller than the Cloister Room, the Council Room is perfect for dinner parties of 16 or so.
