Adrian Diethelm was appointed the 18th Rector from 1 January 2014, having served as Acting Rector in 2013.  Adrian practiced as a barrister for 16 years having previously been a solicitor in a city firm, was a full-time law lecturer at the Universities of Sydney (1987-89) and Queensland (1993-97), and taught law part-time for many years.  His academic interests have included constitutional law, evidence and equity amongst other subjects.

Tony Walters

Tony Walters is a former secondary school teacher and university lecturer. He has a broad life experience including stints in politics and tourism. He has a particular interest in developing student leadership.

As Vice-Rector of the College, Tony’s primary responsibilities are the development, implementation and management of policies and protocols relating to the general welfare, academic progress and pastoral care of students.

Brad Scutella

Brad is a former Executive Director in the NSW Public Sector and a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience. He is a qualified professional in the areas of law, public administration, strategy, policy and management. As the Executive Officer, Brad provides strategic and operational support to the Rector, and has input in relation to the development of strategy, policy and
planning for the College.

Brad also provides support to the Chair of the College Council as well as being Secretary to the Council.

Vic Andallo is a qualified professional in the areas of finance, commercial, strategy and operations management – a wide-ranging professional experience gained from both established and start-up environments from a variety of industries such as professional services, manufacturing, biotechnology, digital media and telecommunications.

In his role as Director of Operations at St John’s College, Vic provides strategic and operational leadership in the areas of finance management, estate planning, risk management and facilities management, making sure that the College utilises its resources optimally for a sustainable future.

Grant Birse

Grant Birse is a marketing and communications professional whose experience spans brand development, strategic planning and stakeholder management within the public and private sectors.

As the Director of Community Relations at St John’s College, Grant provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure a strong market position, increased brand awareness, meaningful community connections and engagement and the generation of sustainable revenue streams.

Christina Goh

Christina Goh is a dedicated and strategic thinking HR professional with more than seven years’ experience within university college administration. 

As the Director of People and Culture, Christina provides high level support to the Rector’s Office and ensures the efficient application and delivery of HR processes, tools and systems to facilitate growth and maintain a culture which attracts, inducts, engages, develops and retains talent within the College.
