DISCIPLINE.
Members of the College shall
not behave in a manner prejudicial to the peace, order or good
reputation of the College. Students who do not observe College
discipline, or who waste their own time or the time of others, or whose
presence for any other reason is considered undesirable, may be
suspended or expelled.

READMISSION.
Readmission to the College
each semester is not automatic. Students must pass all subjects, and be
of good standing, if they wish to be offered a place for the semester
following. A student who fails one or two subjects may be offered an
opportunity to show cause why he/she should be readmitted on probation.
A student readmitted on probation will be required to pass all subjects
during the probationary period.

NOTIFICATION.
Students must advise the
College of their Student Number and the list of subjects and units in
which they are being examined, and permit access by the College to
their examination results.

RIGHT
TO QUIETNESS. Every student has a
primary right to quiet and undisturbed study conditions. If a student
is disturbed by noise, he or she should first negotiate with the person
or persons concerned. If such negotiation fails, a complaint should be
directed at once to a member of the House Committee, an RA, the
Dean of Students, or the Rector.

DRESS.
Correct dress and behaviour are
expected of all students, not only at formal but also at informal
meals, including breakfast.

ABSENCE
OVERNIGHT. Students may not
spend a night away from the College without informing the Rector in
writing.

SICKNESS
OR INJURY. Students are asked
to report all cases of sickness or serious injury to the Rector
immediately.

FIRE
SAFETY. Unauthorised use of
fire-fighting equipment is an extremely serious offense which will
incur a heavy fine and may lead to expulsion as well as civil
consequences. Naked flames or heaters with exposed elements etc., are
not permitted in student rooms.

VACATION
RULES. Unless otherwise
indicated, all rules also apply during vacations.

CONSUMPTION
OF ALCOHOL. Alcoholic liquor
may be consumed within the precincts of the College only in accordance
with current College and civil regulations. Alcoholic drinks are banned
in corridors and tea stations.

AUTHORITY
OF THE RECTOR. The Rector is
empowered to amend or add to the Regulations of the College at his own
discretion from time to time.

PROTECTION
OF PROPERTY. Students are
responsible for the College furniture and fittings of their own rooms.
Damage to this property and to all other College property is to be
reported immediately to the Office. If walls are damaged by hanging
posters students may be liable for the cost of repainting. College
furnishings shall not be removed from any room, private or public, to
which they have been assigned, nor shall any electrical or other
fitting be altered or removed without permission. No ball games are to
be played inside the buildings.

GUESTS.
Each member is responsible for
the conduct of guests in College. The host must be present at all times
during the guest's visit, and is responsible for ensuring that the
College is secure.

CLOSURE.
In the event that the
University of Sydney closes or discontinues teaching for any reason,
the College is relieved of its obligation to provide students with
accommodation during the period of closure.
